Today is January 16th, 11:22 AM. Our new year 2025 has just begun, and we’ve picked up
the thread again. I, too, have gotten back to work and added a few new threads along the way.
For instance, I’ve taken the initiative to create this new website with a blog.
I’m now working on shaping it, designing the layout, choosing colors, and searching for
photos. As I write this, I realize that many of the questions I have now and decisions I still
need to make will already have found answers by the time you read this.
What a comforting and reassuring thought that is. This reminds me of the saying, “everything
lies in the beginning.” I’m already looking forward to dedicating a blog to that soon. It’s
amusing that in the origin of the word weblog, the “we” part has been dropped, and we now
only use the leftover “blog.”
If you look back on the past year, what would you want to take with you and what would you
leave behind?
Lastly, I would like to thank Agnes Claassen and Han Hegeman of Haicu Webdesign for their
professional help in creating this site. Their expertise has undoubtedly contributed to
realizing my plans.
